Room-by-Room Vastu Guidance Combined With Execution
Ceiling — Vastu favours flat ceilings without heavy cuts; in modern flats this aligns with a clean flat gypsum ceiling with cove lighting, integrated into our POP and false ceiling work in Thane scope. Bedrooms in particular avoid heavy drops or beams over the bed.
Bedroom — bed along the south or west wall where possible, head toward south or west, and the door not directly facing the bed; where the room shape doesn't allow it, we use furniture, partitions, curtains or the headboard design.

Applying Vastu in Modern Thane and Mumbai Flats

Kitchen in the Wrong Direction
The layout cannot be moved, but the stove placement within the kitchen, the sink position, the microwave and oven location, the storage planning, and the ventilation can still be aligned with Vastu where possible.
Bedroom Door Facing the Bed
The bed orientation can be shifted, a partition or wardrobe can break the direct line, or curtains and the headboard design can soften the effect.
Main Door Facing a Lift or Staircase
A Vastu-aligned threshold detail, a name plate, or a small entry-foyer treatment can address the placement without structural change.
Puja Room Not in the North-East
A small temple unit, a corner pooja shelf, or a wall-mounted mandir in the North-East direction of any available room can work.
The recommendations work best when they are decided at the site visit, with the actual layout and direction checked properly. A generic Vastu plan from a chart does not work the same way in two different flats — even in the same building.
